CPR, Basic First Aid Health & Safety Training

Important Updates:

Since 2006, Central Ohio CPR has established itself as the premier provider of training for child care, nursing students and the general public in the region. As times continue to change, we have adapted to find ways to provide you with your training needs while still providing the excellent training and customer service you deserve. With this in mind, we are extremely excited to share with you our upcoming changes to allow us to meet the needs of the community in this modern world.

We are proud to announce that we will be rebranding in the coming months and launching First Response Health & Safety Training. This transition will take effect July 1^st, 2024. We are working diligently with the necessary parties to ensure there is no interruption in your certifications, licensing, and paperwork. There is no action needed on your part as this transition takes place.

We want to emphasize that we are the same company. The ownership group, the staff and the instructors are the same. We have not merged with another company or sold our business. Our goal has always been to provide the best training and meet the needs of our clients. As we continue to grow, we have simply outgrown the central Ohio region.  First Response Health & Safety Training will allow us to provide the same great training at a state and national level.

As a part of this transition, we have moved to a new location that will allow us to better meet the needs of our students and focus on our online training. The new location will be 200 East Campus View BLVD, Suite 200, Columbus OH 43235. This is less than 3 miles from our previous training center. We will continue to hold in-person classes and skills testing at this new location.

We will continue to serve our clients at the highest level. As part of these upcoming changes, we have been looking at other training courses that would be beneficial to our clients. We are very excited and proud to announce that we are now approved to teach the nationally recognized Active Violence Emergency Response Training (AVERT) course. This course teaches employees how to safely handle an Active Violence situation at the workplace to best protect your staff and occupants. We understand how sensitive this topic is, but we feel very strongly that this is essential training for the public and would be happy to answer any questions you have about it.
